Cancellation

Cancelling a transaction already sent to FSA

To efficiently rectify multiple transactions, the recommended approach is to adjust the transactions/orders in BFS. TRS Manager will automatically generate cancellation transactions with the same external transaction ID and send them to the FSA. Subsequently, you can reprocess the orders in BFS, and the new transactions will be sent to FSA.

See the example below the cancellation transactions have true in the column Canel and they are cancellation transactions for the six reported transactions the day before.

Manually cancel a transaction in the app

If we want to cancel a transaction sent to FSA, the "Create Cancel" button should be used.

Find the transaction and click the button "Create Cancel" to create a cancellation transaction for this transaction.

A cancellation transaction has been created with all necessary information.

The cancellation transaction is "Ready to be sent" and can be sent to FSA. Navigate to Outgoing Files to batch and send the transaction.

The cancellation transaction has the same External Transaction ID as the other transaction. Use the filter "External Transaction Id" to find the two transactions.

When the canceling is complete (when we receive updates from FSA), the canceling transaction will get the status Accepted and the first (original) transaction will get the status Cancelled.
