2. Account Mappings

On the Account Mappings page, we can configure all the transaction types per BFS account that we want to capture. For example, in the image below there is an account mapping for BFS account number 900001 (the house custody account that represents the cash custody at the bank, all customer deposits and withdrawals will impact this account with transactions of the type Default_Transfer_Settle_Cash. In this example, the configuration says that the amount should be placed into debit account 1910 and credit account 2810.

Within BFS we can see that two transactions were created during May-2021, one deposit of SEK 10,000 and one withdrawal of USD 100.

The configuration below should capture these two transactions and put the net amount in accounting account 1910 (Debit) and 2810 (Credit).

1

Search for the BFS account by account number that we would like to include in the accounting rule. By default this box is filtered to only show the accounts owned by the house which in most cases are the only ones that should trigger accounting entries.

2

The transaction types that are available in BFS is listed in this box where we can decide which type should be involved in the mapping.

3

The Debit Accounting Account is where the accounting account number (could be characters too) that should be used for the debit side of the accounting entry should be entered.

4

The Credit Accounting Account is where the accounting account number (could be characters too) that should be used for the credit side of the accounting entry should be entered.

5

Click on Create to add the accounting rule.

By navigating to the Accounting report section we have now entered the date span for May and that we want to receive the accounting report in EUR.

The image above shows that we received the accounting report with 1910 and 2810 as the accounting accounts and the net amount that should be entered in the accounting system is EUR 905.30.

Each column in the tables has multiple options for sorting, filtering, grouping and the possibility to re-arrange and select columns to show.
