This time we have improved the configurability and some data formatting in Subscription Manager!

Formatting of data fields

The Report Manager where you can design your own contract notes for your customers there are many awesome features. One of them is that you can create a different template for each country that you are dealing with. Those countries however probably have different date formatting. This is also possible to configure in the Report Manager but the data model must have those fields in date format and not in pure text.

We have now added these fields as real date fields as you can see from the image below:

If you now click on a field in your report and map it to a date field in the Data Binding section you can also expand it and find Format String as a property there.

If you click on that one you can then choose from many pre-configured date formats and you can also define your own custom format which you add. After you have done this the field will show up exactly in the format that you wish!

Configurability of e-mail content

When you distribute your contract notes via e-mail it has not been possible to modify the content of those e-mails. This is now fixed!

There are now three new settings available.

You can enter any text that you would like to show up as the e-mail subject, like for example “Subscription Confirmation” or “Here is your awesome order confirmation with payment details!”, it is now up to you
EmailSenderName defines the display text that will show up in the e-mail that you send to your customer instead of just showing the boring generic no-reply@extmail.bricknode.com, now it can instead say “Huddlestock” or the name of your great company!
EmailBody is where you can enter HTML content if you wish that will be included as the body message of the e-mail that is being sent.
