1 The Basics

In order to use Bricknode Financial Systems as a core component for your FinTech offering it is important to know about the basic objects and how to use them.

The most basic of objects are:

• Legal Entities
• Accounts
• Instruments
• Transactions
• Positions

By using these five objects you can create almost any financial application that come to mind.

Legal Entities are natural persons or companies that can own Accounts. In turn Accounts can hold Positions in Instruments and the positions are established by Transactions being created. It is all really simple!
