Distributors producer cost

In many cases the distributor (you) receive compensation from the producer of a financial instrument to cover marketing and administrative costs. This can be included in the reports for customers too by importing a file with these details in the section called “Distributors producer cost”.

A CSV file can be imported with the following fields:

ISIN

The ISIN code of the financial instrument.

DistributorsProducerCost

The percentage received by the intermediary in decimal format. This means that 0.5 % should be inputted like 0.005.

PeriodStartDate

This is the start date from when this schedule should be active and the application will use the schedule for the correct period in the calculation of cost and charges.

PeriodEndDate

This is the end date for when this schedule should be active and the application will use the schedule for the correct period in the calculation of cost and charges.

On the fee report to the end customer the total amount will appear in the following section:

By enabling the column called “Distributors producer cost” the details section will show the amount related to each position.
