Create Borrower

To create a Borrower from Lendysoft backend one navigates to the Borrower listing and clicks on the "Create Borrower " Button located below the Borrower grid.

You are then initially presented with the following view:

As we are creating a new customer from the borrower view the Type of Customer field id disabled and pre-populated with the Borrower type.

You have the possibility to create a Company Borrower or a Person Borrower. Depending on what you choose the form will display different input fields.

Borrower of type Person

When creating a Borrower of Legal entity type Person you are presented with the following view.

Lendysoft will validate that the given input is a valid Swedish personnumer if the input value if the form field Country is set to Sweden.	Yes

Use Address Check	Sweden Only If selected: a adress lookup will be triggered on submit based on Person Identification Number and Zip. The result from the lookup will override the address fields in the form with the result from the lookup. To make use of this service it needs to be activated on the current instance.
Relate to Company	If a person should have a relation to a Company one should select this option. The form will extend with the following section if selected: Function/Role: What function or role does the person have in the company? Search Company: use this field to search for the company you want to relate the person to.
Send Welcome Email	If Checked: Lendysoft will send an email to the Lender containing a welcome text and password for the user

When the form is submitted the following actions will occur:

A legal entity of type Person and customer type Borrower will be created in Lendysoft
A User will be created for the Borrower . Username will initially be set to a Borrower customer number (randomly generated) and a password will also be generated for the Borrower.
A welcome email will be sent to the Borrower containing user credentials (optional).

Borrower of type Company

Use Bisnode Company Check	Nordic Only If selected: Lendysoft will trigger a Bisnode company lookup that will provide extensive information regarding the companys financial data among other things.

When the form is submitted the following actions will occur:

A legal entity of type Company and customer type Borrower will be created in Lendysoft

Important

A Company Borrower wont be created with a associated user. To faciliatet a user one need to create a Person of type Signatory in the Relations tab on Company details. Read more about company relations..
