Create a portfolio
In Bricknode the portfolio is called an allocation profile.
Create an allocation profile
Navigate to the menu Portfolio Management.
Click the action menu to create the Allocation Profile.
A pop-up ticket will appear.Â
Name:Â The name of the allocation profile
Status:Â Who should be able to see the allocation profile
Order Algorithm: How the cash should be distributed into orders in the allocation profile. Static balance keeps the original allocation at each rebalance occurrence.Â
Exchange Algorithm:Â
- From Base Currency, from SEK to USD
- All To Base Currency, exchanges all positive balances to the base currency and converts the base currency to cover any negative balances.
- Highest to lowest, exchanges from the largest position to the smallest position until there is no negative balance remaining.
Click on the name of the allocation profile to manage it.
The interface for managing the allocation profile appears as follows
Connect instruments to the portfolio
Work with any instrument type including funds, stocks, bonds, etc. within your model portfolios.
Click the button "Select Instruments" or click on the action menu at the Instruments to add instruments to your portfolio.
Choose which instruments that should be included in the allocation profile and which percentage distribution they should have.
The allocation should not be allocated to 100%. We recommend keeping a small buffer in the allocation profile to avoid potential errors. Without a buffer, rounding during order processing can cause the allocation to slightly exceed 100%, resulting in an "allocation items exceed 100%" error.
Connect customers to your portfolio
There is a possibility to connect accounts from both the allocation profile and the account. The allocation profile can contain several accounts, but you can only connect one at a time.Â
There are three ways to connect the account to the allocation profile; Click the button "Connect Account" or click the action menu at the Accounts or click at the action menu at the account from the customer account overview.Â
 From the customer overview
The added accounts will be visible in the section Accounts
A small portfolio icon will be visible on the account when it is connected to a portfolio.Â
We are now ready to manage the portfolio.
