Use account type limitations if you just want to be able to trade an instrument on specific accounts.
Navigate to an instrument > tab "Account Type Limitations"
Click the action menu to "Activate" and "Manage" the limitations.
Select which accounts to enable trading for, in this example, we enable trading on holding accounts.
When trying to trade the instrument on an account that has a limitation, the user will receive a message: The account type has no permission to trade the product.
If you are doing an instrument transfer to an account type that has a limitation the admin user will be notified when trying to transfer the instrument. There is always a possibility to override this notification by click “Ignore validation”.
