Settings in System Data
Navigate to System Settings > System Data > Other and the section called MiFID ll - Customer Protection.
- When MiFID II Customer Protection is enabled, only users who have knowledge groups can place orders in instruments that have Mifid II data. The default setting is set to no.
- You can add a link to the MiFID Market knowledge test which can be a site that you create yourself and that can communicate via API to the MiFID II application (called M2 hereafter). Note! must be https://
- There is a tab available in the various GUIs of Bricknode Broker that shows ExPost information and you can select for which portals these should show up.
- The section where you enter connection details holds the following information:
- Username & Password, this is the credentials of an admin user in BFS that you want to use for communicating with the M2 app. A good practice is to have a separate admin user for this communication, this increases the traceability.
- Encryption Key, this is a key that you will receive from Bricknode that exists in the M2 app for authentication.
- URL, this is the base url of your instance of the M2 application.
- There are two buttons, Create users in M2, which creates users in the app that exists in Bricknode Broker. This button can be used if a user, for example, has not been synchronized with the app. This can happen if the user has been created via API. The other button called create instruments are used to create instruments in the app. If the instrument is created via API it will not automatically be synchronized to the M2 app.
